My Future Kitchen
Hubby and I are very excited recently because our new home is now under renovation. It’s like FINALLY! It’s been a month plus since the first day of renovation. Now I can’t wait to share about my future kitchen. There will definitely be enough places for storage, I think. But as time passes and we keep on buying, the kitchen will in the end be lack of storage. So, I must make sure I will always think twice and to purchase only the necessities. I really can’t wait to move in and use the kitchen >_< Hubby too, can’t wait to use the oven ^_^
This is the 3D drawing of my future kitchen with an island that I’ve always wanted. With such a big kitchen, I could just place my electrical appliances there and don’t have to always take out the electrical appliances when I wanna use them and keep them back after use.

Can you see that the hob is set to be lower than the kitchen top at the sides?
This is to accommodate to my height. I’m very short, only 147cm
That’s why people always mistaken me as a secondary school girl or college girl. There’s a big basin at the windows, this basin will mainly be used for washing oily stuff or preparation of poultry or meats.

We will have a Electrolux oven for baking, roasting and grilling, and a Mitsubishi refrigerator. Can you believe we bought the refrigerator many months ago? After studying the features and specs of different brands of refrigerator, hubby and I thought that this is the right one, one that suits our needs. What I like about it are the big storage that comes with usable compartments, the soft freezing compartment, and the auto shelf that it offers. What hubby likes are the big storage too and the auto ice maker which I didn’t ‘quite’ take into consideration when making decision which refrigerator is more practical
But since hubby always lets me buy whatever I wish to have, I should let him has his auto ice maker too, to show my love to him >_< He’s the one who’s paying after all
He always tells me “you always get what you want”. Now, he gets what he wants too. He’s a happy man and I will have an auto ice maker to help me to do the job. Why not? What a wise decision ^_^ If you’re interested to find out more about this refrigerator, it is the Mitsubishi Folio Series. It has many different models in this series. We like the pure white model with 5 doors but it was discontinued when we made the decision to purchase. So, we quickly purchased our next best choice, platinum brown, 6 doors.

There’s another basin at the island for the preparation of veggies and fruits.
This will be a perfect kitchen! It will be ready in a month’s time if everything goes smoothly as planned.

Since you have a big and nice kitchen, don’t forget to cook for me ya.
Okay, one day! But please bear in mind nice kitchen doesn’t mean nice food ya.

Hey Shanie, it’s nice to stumble upon your blog! Your bentos are really yummilicious
I’m crazy over bento recently and was surfing about bento which was how I came across your blog. I am so envious of your big, big kitchen! I live in Singapore and you know how small this place is. Anyway, nice meeting you
Hi, nice meeting you too. I can definitely get info about Singapore from your blog when I wanna travel there
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Sure Shanie
I live in Singapore but I am a Malaysian too. One of my close friends is now living in Penang. Understand from your blog that you are based in Penang too. I hope she can blog more like you do. Are you working or staying home serving Prince Hubby?
