Will A Mouse Fall In Love With A Chicken?

Breakfast

Today’s breakfast was easy to prepare. Bought the Shao Pao and a big size curry puff last night to toast it this morning, then it’s ready to serve. I chose something that’s easy to prepare because I needed more time to work on the lunch bento for today :) Poured him a glass of tomato, carrot and some other veggies mixed juice but he said it tasted weird, haha. He was the one who bought the juice. So, gave him a glass of honey in the end.

Bought the instant gravy at a japanese store last week but I’m not sure what gravy was it because I couldn’t read japanese :( So, I just cut some mushrooms and diced chickens to cook with it. Simply pour the cooked gravy on the rice and today’s bento isn’t just white rice :) It’s easy and hubby has a different taste of rice for lunch.

Stir fried capsicums, baby corns and mushrooms

Baby Corn

You could see that the baby corn is not quite ‘baby’ :) It’s as big as my palm.

Roast honey chicken wing and grilled fish

Cute quail eggs

Here are the cute quail eggs. One was used to do a little chicken hatching out and another two were used to make a mouse, the head and the body. *note* – no tail for the mouse :D Just realised while I’m blogging. I wanted to give him two quail eggs but he said he wanted three. We see Tom (cat) and Jerry (mouse) but here is the weird combination of a chicken and a mouse in the bento.

My chicken little

You can see cracks over the face of the chicken. That’s because I pressed in the beak using the carrot for several times, adjusted and adjusted. It’s a wrinkled chick.

The mouse

Oh, forgot about mouse has a tail. Let’s assume it hides its tail behind okay? :D Unless Mr. Mouse falls in love with Ms. Wrinkled Chicken, he’s a lonely mouse.

Bento 18

Made this sleepy face on his pao for afternoon tea. The result wasn’t good. Didn’t look sleepy but ugly. So, I ate the nori away! So the picture below was the bento he brought to work.

My lunch

After packing hubby’s lunch bento, the rest goes to my stomach and some to my maid’s and my doggie, Gigi :) I only gave Gigi carrots. Luckily, it’s always more veggies than meat or I will surely put on a lot of weight. O_o
