Stitch Birthday Bento For My Dear Hubby
When was my last post? It’s on the 14th of March (My Birthday), exactly three months ago! Today, on the 14th of June, it’s my hubby’s birthday. Two days later, it will be my doggie, Gigi’s birthday!
Almost forgotten hubby’s birthday until yesterday morning >_< Opps!!! Haven’t been making bento for him for some time already. Since it’s his big day, I shall let him bring with him a lovely bento prepared by his wife =p I made him a bento for his last year’s birthday too. This Stitch Birthday Bento is his second birthday bento
Breakfast
Breakfast was Jacob’s Hi-Fibre Crackers toasted with chili tuna topped with cheese, dragon fruits and a cup of coffee. And a cup of coffee still wasn’t enough for my big kid. He requested a glass of MILO Sejuk. It’s Nestle’s new product where you can add cold water instead of hot water and it’s soluble. Cold water is not enough, my kid said “Put ice ya”.

Deng Deng Deng Deng…Stitch Bento for his birthday! My big kid said “Eeyer, you made Stitch for me”. Sounded happy to see his favourite cartoon character. This is worth the effort.

Here are the dishes:
Top left: Egg salad with green peas, artificial crab sticks, and prawns
Top right: Three pan fried wantons
Bottom left: BBQ chickens
Bottom right: Edamame and chili sauce in the Stitch tub for the French Fries
There are also two love shaped carrots ^_^

Here is the rice. The rice were mixed with the food coloring bought from 100 Yen shop and then shaped into the Stitch face with a Stitch mould. I topped the ears with sakura denbu, the face details were punched out from nori with my Stitch puncher and the eyeballs are actually the white rice. I somehow feel that this Stitch looks more like a koala bear. Doesn’t it? Compared with my previous Stitch Bento, I feel my previous Stitch onigiri looked more like Stitch and I cut the facial details out from nori myself for my previous Stitch Bento. Did the expensive Stitch puncher failed me? Cut out the happy birthday with alphabet cutter and the birthday word was in short form because ran out of space. Lol. The two yellow things are the candles. Hahaha!
Next to the rice are some French fries. Yes, this big kid loves French fries a lot.
Koala Bear or Stitch?

Today’s fruits: Apple, Orange and a tiny piece of dragon fruit :p

A better view of the fruit bento. The dragon fruit is really tiny ooo
As I’m writing this post, I received a message from hubby at 1.08pm “Yeah, wash hand n bento time!”. Looks like he’s looking forward to his lunch time.
Happy Birthday, Darling! ^_^

I love that tuna cheese on cracker.
