Stitch Bento
Today’s breakfast was wholegrain cereal with almond and dried cranberries, and I added fresh blueberries into it.
Stitch Bento
I didn’t do anything cute in this bento so I just named the bento over the Stitch sauce container because hubby said, “Wah, got Stitch” when he saw the bento this morning. Stitch is his favourite cartoon character.
Rice cubes
Gave him 7 rice cubes and filled the gaps with broccolis’ stems. I also put some teriyaki sauce below the rice cubes for him.
For veggies, he has broccolis and tomatoes. There’s not enough space to put 3 broccoli florets, so I had to place the third one upside down and I put a pick on it. The pick is a trunk
It’s so funny that the trunk is still smiling even when its world has turned upside down.
He also gets some baby octopuses and grilled chicken. I grilled a chicken leg and then cut into small bite-size pieces so that he can eat easily, hidden under the octopuses.
Here are the fish fingers, grilled two for him and cut into 4 small pieces. Inside the Stitch container is the chilli sauce for the fish fingers. Managed to squeeze one more tomato below the sauce container. A baran is used to separate the fish fingers from the sauce container so that it’s not oily when he opens it.
Haha, you could see the chicken leg bone in my lunch. After cutting the meats to pack for hubby, the remaining meats on the bone are left for me to ‘clean up’
I have one extra dish (the dark color thing), braised soy sauce pork with dried mushroom (tau yew bak). First time cooking it and it tastes not bad. It’s gonna be in hubby’s tomorrow’s bento and he’s gonna love it as it’s one of his favourite dishes. I had yesterday’s leftover fried rice instead of white rice.
