Pinky Bento

Today, I packed a Pinky Bento for my big kid with a new bento box, a new round container as a bowl for the rice and a new pair of chopsticks. I bought these bento boxes and chopsticks at the 100 Yen Shop in Tanjung Tokong last Sunday. I love the pink colour so much but I think it’s too girlish to use it for hubby. So I asked “It’s too pinkish right? You’ll feel shy to take out your bento at lunch?” He said “No, it’s fine. This bento box is priced at RM20.90 if I’m not mistaken. It has four small separate containers in it, makes packing bento easier. There’s another same type of bento box which has 2 tier, priced at RM29.90. The bottom tier is just a big tier with no small separate containers.

This bento is packed with cold mushroom salad, stir fried bitter gourd with bean paste and tom yam chicken with baby corns. Hubby gets to enjoy some fruits after lunch, kiwi and plum.

Here’s a bowl of rice with some black sesame seeds. My big kid likes to eat with chopsticks and a bowl so I got this idea of packing rice in a small round container for him so that he can hold the container like holding a bowl and eat with chopsticks. Hope he enjoys his lunch today.
