Be Happy Bento!
My last post was on the 4th of August! I had not updated for more than a month
When I first started blogging, I had not missed a day! Well, I was busy with something else recently but I hope I can start bento-ing and update my blog very soon again.
I made a pizza for my big kid yesterday morning. It’s a ‘half & half’ pizza. Half with tom yam chicken and mushrooms and another half with shredded smoked chicken breasts. Added some red capsicum too
There was also a glass of home made soy milk. He liked the breakfast so it’s always worthwhile to wake and make him breakfasts. But lately, I just couldn’t crawl out from my bed in the morning to make him breakfast because hubby and I go to bed very late recently. What has happened recently in the morning was, I would tell him with my eyes still closing “Must eat ya! Fridge got milk. You go down and eat cereal okay, add some oats and nuts into your cereal”. Hahaha! I know we should adjust our time and go to bed early so that we can wake up early the next morning. We shall start by tonight
Be Happy Bento ( kiwi, grapes, banana, almonds and a chocolate)
I started making bento again yesterday. It’’s a simple fruit bento with the words ‘BE HAPPY’ written on the banana’s skin because hubby misses my bentos for some time already and has kept complaining to me about his lunch box at work, he’s unhappy and how he dislikes his lunch at work. I told him they can still keep him full and he answered me: “Yes, they can but they can’t make me happy”. Oh, I was so sad and was happy at the same time! Sad because he’s not happy anymore during lunch time and happy because the bentos I made for him really cheer him when he’s at work. My big kid really likes my bentos despite my zero cooking skills! Woohoo!!!
When hubby tells you he’s not happy without your bento, would you not do anything? No! So, without any ingredients to make him a lunch bento, I quickly made him a fruits bento so that he could at least have a bento to bring with him to work again! And of course, I hope the “BE HAPPY” banana can do something to his mood.
Below are some photos of the bentos I did for myself when hubby was away for business trip some time ago. I took photos of them and wanted to blog but didn’t make it so I just post them in this post so they’re not wasted. Hehe! I like the colour combinations
Rice topped with black sesame, tuna with mayonnaise, chicken cooked with taco mix and tomatoes, corns and peas
Onigiris with tuna and black sesame, pan fried chicken breasts, broccolis and cherry tomatoes

As many people pointed out, romanticism was never one of Bakuman’s strong points. Gratefully the romance is maintained to a minimum and Moshiro and Azuki’s relationship is a source of motivation for them to follow, although I consider it is too a source of impediment.
